Memorial Day (26 May) Practice Update / 6am to 7am / No 5:30am start

CMA will have practice from 6am to 7am on Memorial Day, Monday, 26 May.  There will be no practice at 5:30am on Memorial Day.

Apparel update:

The team apparel order arrived in mid-April. Contact Jinny if you have any questions about items that were part of individual orders.

Facility updates:

The pool is scheduled to be short-course for the team practice times during the entire month of May.  The full schedule is available at https://bbmac.org/Lap-Swim/.  The pool is scheduled to open at 6am on Memorial Day, but we will confirm the practice times closer to the holiday.

Payment Reminder: Coronado Masters Association (CMA) monthly payments are due shortly. Please send your payment no later than the 5th of the month. You can pay via Venmo or check – NO CASH. Remember to include in the Venmo/check comments who payment is for (first and last name) and the month for which you are paying.

Facility updates:

The pool is scheduled to be configured for long course for two weeks in April (14-18 and 21-25).  The full schedule for the month is available at https://bbmac.org/Lap-Swim/.

Club Notes for March / Team Apparel

Team Apparel:

CMA (Jinny) has introduced an updated design and color for the team sweatshirt and T-shirt for 2025.  Mock-ups are shown at the bottom of this page.  The prices are:

T-shirt: $15

Hoodie/Crewneck: $32

The color shown on the mock-ups are approximate but the shade is called "denim blue" and appears to be lighter for the T-shirt and darker for the hoodie.

The shirt is 100% cotton, and the hoodie is a poly/cotton blend.  The sizes range from S - 5XL.  Any size above XL will have a fabric fee. The pricing follows suit with the size (for example 2XL- $2.00 extra, 3XL-$3.00 extra, 5XL-$5.00 extra).

 

You can email swimcma@gmail.com if you are interested and/or communicate your interest to Rhonda at practice. We are looking to satisfy the vendor minimum (12 of each) for the order.

As of the latest update shown at https://bbmac.org/Lap-Swim/, the pool is scheduled to be configured long-course for 6 workouts in March: 3/10, 3/12, 3/17, 3/19, 3/24, and 3/26.

No CMA practice on Monday, 17 February, due to youth swim meet

CMA will be unable to hold practice on Monday, 17 February, due to a youth swim meet at the BBMAC.

The pool is scheduled to be configured for long-course on 2/12 (Wed), 2/14 (Fri), 2/19 (Wed), and 2/21 (Fri).  The pool will be closed on 2/17 (President's Day) for a swim meet.

Pool update : Mon (13 Jan) and Wed (15 Jan)

CMA will be in the small pool on Monday (13 Jan) and Wednesday (15 Jan) this week.  However, the team was informed that the small pool will be significantly warmer (86 F) this week compared with this past week (80 F).  The team will have the option to swim in the competition pool (long course) from 5:30am to 6am but will need to move to the small pool promptly at 6am because the competition pool is reserved for a visiting swim team.
