No practice on Friday (29 Nov) / Other notes for December

 

Practice updates:

There is no CMA workout on Friday, 29 November.  The pool will not open until 2pm, so the facility is not available for practice.

CMA Parka Order

CMA is looking into the possibility of another parka purchase.  The individual cost of each parka (including printing and taxes) was in the range of $115 to $125 in 2023.  The final cost may depend on sizes (e.g. XL are more expensive), and the total number we are able to purchase.  The parkas are Navy blue with the CMA logo printed on the back.  See coach Rhonda if you are interested.

CMA Silicone Swim Caps

Team swim caps are available for $10.  The caps are identical (royal blue and white) to the original swim caps.  The silicone caps are more durable than latex caps and have a textured interior to help reduce slippage.  Contact Jinny if you are interested in purchasing one.

Payment Reminder: Coronado Masters Association (CMA) monthly payments are due shortly. Please send your payment no later than the 5th of next month. You can pay via Venmo or check – NO CASH. Remember to include in the Venmo/check comments who payment is for (first and last name) and the month for which you are paying.  

US Masters Swimming membership: CMA’s rental contract with the BBMAC requires that CMA swimmers have a USMS membership. Membership is now available for 2025.  To obtain or renew a membership, visit this URL: https://www.usms.org/join-usms/join-or-renew.

Veterans Day Practice Time Change / Only 6am to 7am workout

We were informed that the pool will open at 6am on Veterans Day, Monday, 11 November.  As a result, we will have only one practice group on Monday: 6am to 7am.  There is no 5:30am practice start on Monday.
