Thanksgiving Week Update

CMA will have normal practice times (5:30am-6:30am; 6am-7am) on Wednesday, 23 November.  Friday practice (25 Nov) will be from 7am-8am.

Club notes for late October

(1) USMS membership renewals for 2023 begin on 1 November. USMS membership is required for each CMA swimmer to meet the liability insurance requirements of the facility. You can register/renew at https://www.usms.org/login-to-registration-page.

(2) Monthly club dues for October and November can be paid to Sam Prieb using Venmo or Rhonda/Sam at the pool. The Venmo address is @coronadoMA. If you are unsure of any fees, you can contact Sam at coronadomaswimming@gmail.com

(3) For individual workouts, swimmers can pay $10 using Venmo or pay Sam/Rhonda at the pool. 

No CMA practice on Labor Day (Monday, 5 Sep)

 The BBMAC will be closed for Labor Day, so there will be no CMA practice on Monday, 5 Sep.

No CMA Practice on Friday, 12 August

The BBMAC is hosting the San Diego Imperial Long Course Age Group Championships from 11 to 14 August.  As a result, the facility will be unavailable for practice this Friday, 12 August.

La Jolla Cove Swim Club Pier to Cove Swim, Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 9AM

 For anyone interested in open water swims, the La Jolla Swim Club will hold their annual Pier to Cove 1.5 mile swim from Scripps Pier to La Jolla Cove at 9AM on Sunday, 26 June.  The link to registration is: https://racewire.com/register.php?id=12671.  The link to the Scripps Pier water temperature is: https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=46254.  Online registration closes tomorrow at midnight (Thursday, 23 June), but registration is available on race day (cash only).

Memorial Day (Monday, 30 May) Swim Schedule

 Practice will be 6am to 7am with no 5:30am option on Monday, 30 May.
