CMA practice update for Wednesday (19 Jul) and Friday (21 Jul)

Our coach has a conflict that will require her to leave at 6:20AM on Wednesday (19 Jul).  As a result, we must be out of the pool by 6:20AM.  The abbreviated practice times will most severely impact the 6AM group.  The BBMAC is hosting a swim meet (Age Group Championships) on Friday (21 Jul), so we are unable to hold practice on Friday.

CMA T-shirt Order

The team is placing a T-shirt order with a new logo for CMA designed by our very own Jinny Zola.  The background color of the T-shirt will be ash gray with the logo superimposed in navy blue.  If you have interest in ordering a T-shirt or have any questions, please contact Jane.  If there is sufficient interest, future apparel orders may include sweatshirts, towels, swim caps, etc.  Below is an example of the logo:

CMA practice schedule for the week of 3 July

Normal workouts on Monday (3 July) and Wednesday (5 July) but no practice on Friday due to a swim meet.  Enjoy the holiday this week!

Friday (16 June) Update, Practice ends at 6:30am

 Due to an age group swim meet, CMA is required to be out of the pool by 6:30am this Friday, 16 June.

No practice on Memorial Day

 There will be no CMA practice on Memorial Day (Monday, 29 May).

Pool update / heater problems / practice in small pool

CMA was informed that the competition pool (50-meter) is still having heater problems.  As a result, the competition pool will be closed through Friday (5 May).  The team will plan to swim in the rec/therapy pool (5 lanes, 25-yard) on Wednesday (3 May) and Friday (5 May), but the temperature will be 86F 🥵.  The practices will focus on kicking and drills on those days.

No 6am to 7am practice option on Monday, 20 February

Warm ups for an age group swim meet at the BBMAC on Monday, 20 February, will start at 6:45am.  As a result, our only practice option on that morning will be from 5:30am to 6:30am.  There will be no 6am to 7am practice option on Monday, 20 February.
